You’re unusually private for the first three weeks of September. The Sun is in Virgo, your intimate eighth house, a time to turn inward. You tend to be outgoing and group-oriented, but now you need to nurture your closest bonds with focused attention. A detailed matter could require intense concentration, and you may be involved in real estate, paying off debt or bringing together different pieces of a master plan. Powerful emotions may also need to be processed. Think like a skillful surgeon and eliminate distractions.

You’ll be ready to emerge in October and November. Jupiter and Neptune are still retrograde (backward) in Aquarius for another 6-8 weeks, which has kept you out of the limelight this summer. From September 8th-28th, communication planet Mercury is also retrograde, causing misunderstandings and travel mix-ups. Might as well stay in your cocoon this month. You’re like a cake in the oven that’s not quite ready to come out—but you’ll be delicious perfection if you let the ingredients bake a little longer.
